The Circus is Coming to Town!

The Kelly Miller Circus, founded during the Great Depression, is making another milestone this year as it celebrates its seventy-third anniversary. Founded in 1938 by Obert Miller and his sons Kelly and Dores, this traditional tented circus has seen the passing of over half of the last century and still offers the same great family entertainment it presented in its humble beginnings.

J & H Family Stores is sponsoring The Ensley Park Committee, the all new 2011 edition of the Kelly Miller Circus will be in town on Friday, August 26, 2011 for two performances at 4:30 & 7:30 p.m. at the Howard City Ball Parks behind McNaughton School.

This year's show features elephants, horses and cast of international circus stars under a beautiful circus big top. The tent raising itself is a great free show that will take place at 9:00 a.m. and the public is invited to witness this very entertaining event.

Enjoying a day at the circus means a lot more than just old-fashioned family fun. This event is a fundraiser that J & H Family Stores is sponsoring for the benefit of The Ensley Park Committee.
